Night Motorbike Photoshoot with Jerome Cheze

The greatest challenge I faced for this night motorbike photoshoot was that the sun had already set and the carpark area was dim. The autofocusing feature of my camera was slowed down badly. I also had to avoid the distraction of other vehicles in the background.

Since Jerome was the primary highlight apart from his motorbike, I had to make sure that he was properly lighted up inside the photographs. Therefore, I utilised the speedlite I had with me. The speedlite also helped to keep a good contrast between my main subjects and the surrounding. Unfortunately, I didn't have more photography lighting equipment with me to create a more spectacular lighting effect.

Jerome was patient when I was trying to test the lighting. He also cooperated well with me to adjust the position of his motorbike.

Eventually, Jerome's great performance helped to keep a good flow of the shoot, such that we were able to create some very good photographs within a short timeframe.

Jerome gave me a ride to the near MRT after the motorbike portrait to help me save time and energy.
