Jogging Photoshoot with Michael

Even on a packed business trip, Michael makes time to jog—it's his way of staying healthy. After settling into his hotel, he explored the area and came across Robinson Road, a spot not far from where he was staying. It felt like the perfect setting: a true glimpse into his usual routine back in the US, framed by the city's energy. I appreciated that he didn't push for a further location given our time constraints. I also timed the shoot to avoid harsh sunlight—I wanted to reveal a softer side of him, even within the context of a fitness story.

As with any outdoor shoot, there were the usual challenges—curious passers-by, unexpected traffic, and sunlight that changed from frame to frame. Through it all, Michael remained calm, patient, and completely cooperative, which made all the difference.

He had to do multiple runs—jogging back and forth on cue—so that we could get a clean frame with the right energy and composition. It was a workout on its own, but he took it all in good stride. I appreciated how committed he was to getting it right without losing the spirit of the moment.

By the end of it, we managed to create a set of dynamic images that captured more than just movement—it showed intention, routine, and that balance between business and personal well-being. A meaningful memory in the heart of the city.
