Music Photoshoot with Ong Yongchuan

For Yongchuan, music is more than just a hobby—it's a part of who he is. That's why we wanted this shoot to be easygoing and genuine, just like the way he experiences music in his daily life. He came prepared with his earphones and with his usual stylish touch, the session naturally took on an effortless, editorial feel.

Of course, shooting outdoors comes with its own set of challenges, and in this case, it was the light. As the sun dropped lower, the environment darkened quickly, making it harder to focus. I had to keep adjusting my settings, working against time before the last traces of daylight disappeared.

Even so, everything came together beautifully. The peaceful park, the soft, natural lighting, and the way he got lost in the music gave the images an intimate, almost cinematic quality. Looking back, it felt less like a structured photoshoot and more like we were just capturing a real, fleeting moment.
