Men's Fashion Photoshoot with Ong Yongchuan

I was genuinely surprised when we began the men's fashion shoot. From the way Yongchuan carried himself and posed, it was clear he had made an effort to understand fashion photography. Initially, I had expected a relaxed lifestyle shoot, thinking it would be simpler but he blew me away.

When I asked him about it, he explained that he had done his research beforehand, studying different poses and expressions. That moment made me realise how much our perception of photoshoots can be influenced by the images we're used to seeing. Yongchuan's vision leaned more towards high-fashion photography and he nailed it.

Despite shooting in public spaces, he remained confident, adapting to the surroundings and keeping his expressions on point. We experimented with angles, lighting and movement, creating a variety of chic, polished images. It was refreshing to see someone so focused and intentional about their look. By the end, I was extremely impressed and thrilled to see how everything turned out.
