Lifestyle Photoshoot with Leonard

Leonard and I continued with a lifestyle shoot at Starbucks in Rochester Park, one of the most unique Starbucks outlets in Singapore. As we were racing against time, his dad kindly drove over to pass us the props we needed, which helped us keep the momentum going.

We settled at a table on the first storey, using only the ambient light available. To adapt to the dim conditions and achieve the background blur we wanted, I switched to my 50mm F1.4 prime lens. The lens gave us the clarity and depth we needed, even in the low light.

The angle options were restricted, and I had to be careful to avoid capturing other customers in the shots. Space was tight, leaving me little room to move backwards, but fortunately, this set was meant to be close‑up shots as discussed earlier with Leonard. Despite the constraints, the shoot came together smoothly, blending the cosy atmosphere of the café with Leonard’s natural ease.
