Hiking Photoshoot with AX

This is a travel blog-style shoot to introduce the Southern Ridges hiking journey. I had kept the photography equipment to the minimum for the long hiking trip. The model, AX, was of course in her casual outfit as well.

The day didn't begin smoothly as the rain fell to drench the land. AX, the "lazy girl", embraced the drizzle in the early morning to catch me surprise with her determination - normally, girls would have called off the trip to go back to bed instead. That was her second shower of the day.

At the start of the trip, we were welcomed by fallen tree branches caused by the earlier storm. In fact, we had to crawl through around three of them throughout the entire journey. AX refused to use the insect repellent due to the smell. She eventually got caressed badly by the mosquitoes.

We managed to cover Mount Faber, Faber point, Henderson Waves, Garden Terrace, Forest Walk, Alexandra Arch, Hortpark and Kent Ridge Park - the entire stretch of Southern Ridges.
