Men's Fitness Gym Photoshoot with Lukas Berger

I made multiple clarifications with Lukas about his experience of modelling as he was performing tremendously well in front of the camera. He assured me that he rarely had the opportunity to be photographed and that's also the reason he had approached me.

What I did before the photoshoot was share with him the goals and how we would achieve them. It was mainly done via texting. After analysing him through the conversations, I was expecting him to nail the photoshoot easily but I didn't know he was born to be charismatic and natural in front of the camera.

At the start of the photoshoot, I was quite worried about the ceiling light. Lukas gave me comfort by cooperating well with me as I guided him to spots with better lighting. With his trust, I was able to focus to do my best for the rest of the photoshoot.

Due to the low ambient light, I had to work with a slower shutter speed and wider aperture, which posed a great challenge in keeping the images sharp. Although I could bounce some light using my speedlite, I didn't want to cause any inconvenience to the other users of the gym.

He accepted my idea of including some non-working-out pictures to bring life to the album.

I was mesmerised by this fitness album.
