Men's Fitness Gym Photoshoot with Liu Wing Lun

Wing returned to get his second fitness photoshoot done some months after his first fitness photoshoot. This time, he opted for a gym photoshoot session with some gym equipment at the back.

This gym photoshoot was more tedious than the previous studio photoshoot due to the logistic. Initially, it was the booking of the gym, followed by the moving of photography equipment over. During the actual photoshoot, I spent a lot of time and energy moving the studio strobes around to create the most suitable and flattering light possible for every specific spot and pose.

The biggest challenge was the tight space and reflective surfaces. This was a very comfortable but small gym compared to the other gyms that I had used for gym photoshoots. It wasn't easy to position my studio strobes to not let them appear inside the photographs; moreover, I needed to avoid some backgrounds that could cause distraction.

Eventually, the production was overrun badly but I was glad that the management of the gym didn't chase us off.
