Outdoor Casual Couple Photoshoot with Dan Boden & Lorelei Timpson

This casual outdoor couple photoshoot was done on the day of Dan's surprise marriage proposal to his then-girlfriend Lorelei.

We discussed a few locations and he eventually set on Gardens by the Bay. Due to his other arrangements, we weren't able to shoot at the most desired timing and, unfortunately, it was a clear sky with harsh sunlight.

I reached Gardens by the Bay much earlier than the planned time since I needed to figure out some of the spots where Dan was interested in doing his surprise wedding proposal.

Since it was Dan's grand day, he was nervous. I had a secret "toilet meeting" with him to calm him down right after he reached the place. After that, I pretended to be a tourist and tried hard not to catch Lorelei's attention. I felt like a paparazzi.

After the proposal succeeded, we made use of the little time left to have a simple couple photoshoot. I felt it was a waste that we weren't able to spend more time on the shoot for they were so cute together.

I'm grateful to the couple for their understanding as I explained the constraints to get some of the photographs they wanted to get. Dan appreciated it so much that he even tried to offer to give me more than the amount we agreed on.
