Lifestyle Photoshoot with Pris Lim
In the lead-up to our lifestyle photoshoot, Pris Lim proved to be a dream collaborator right from the get-go. During our pre-production discussions, she was not only understanding but also incredibly cooperative when it came to setting the timing for the shoot. It was evident that she was keen on making the process smooth and enjoyable.
When it came to choosing the outfit for the shoot, Pris had a clear idea—opting for what she felt most comfortable in. This choice was essential to capture her genuine self and it set the tone for the shoot.
On the day of the shoot, Pris and Koreen, the makeup artist, met up at Starbucks for the makeover session before our rendezvous. Meeting Pris in person, I discovered a gem of a person—easygoing and simple, she had a way of making everyone around her feel comfortable. My biggest worry during the makeup was that other guests might feel uncomfortable with Koreen using hairspray - fortunately, nobody complained.
Before we began the shoot, one of my initial concerns was the distance we had to cover to reach the venue, potentially causing some perspiration. However, Pris, being the easygoing soul she is, brushed off the worry without a complaint.
Another uncertainty lingered in the sky as it started to get dark, threatening the success of our outdoor shoot. True to Singapore's unpredictable weather, the drizzle began during our warm-up. Adapting to the situation, we shifted the shoot indoors beneath a building.
Pris, with her chatty and lively nature, became a significant asset during the shoot. Through casual conversations, we were able to build a relaxed atmosphere. Her effort to follow instructions and bring out her cheerful character made the session enjoyable and productive.
Working with Pris turned out to be more than just a photoshoot; it was a collaborative experience with a wonderful person, capturing the essence of her lifestyle in the most authentic way possible.
