Outdoor yoga photoshoot with M.S at Bedok

This is the third set of the photoshoot with M.S. This particular set had a yoga theme, adding a touch of serenity to the day's agenda.

As fate would have it, there was an unexpected obstacle before we began with the shoot. The workers had barricaded a section of the area, making it inaccessible for M.S to reach me directly. Undeterred by this challenge, she made a detour, navigating her way around the buildings.

While M.S went to change into her yoga outfit, I took the opportunity to explore the surroundings. To my delight, I stumbled upon a hidden gem, a picturesque spot tucked away in a corner. Additionally, I found another location in front of some houses that intrigued me. I wanted to try both spots but M.S expressed concerns about privacy issues. In the interest of her comfort, we decided to stick with the first location, which had a clean and uncluttered background.

One of the challenges I faced was the height of the background. It wasn't very tall, which meant we had to be mindful of the composition to avoid including the top part, which consisted of railings. To work around this, I opted for a landscape orientation instead of the portrait mode.

We spent a considerable amount of time in this spot. M.S eagerly tried out various yoga poses and we reviewed the images together on my small screen. It was a collaborative process where we discussed and corrected the poses to ensure they looked natural and graceful. Amidst the photo session, we engaged in friendly chit-chat, forming a connection that added warmth and ease to the shoot.

Capturing the essence of M.S's yoga practice was a delightful experience. The peaceful ambience of the location blended harmoniously with her serene presence. We shared laughter, exchanged stories and embraced the tranquility of the moment. It was during these interactions that I truly appreciated the beauty of photography as a means to connect and create meaningful art.

This third set of the shoot not only produced stunning images but also left us with cherished memories of collaboration, creativity and camaraderie. M.S's passion for yoga shone through and I felt privileged to be a part of capturing her journey.

Throughout the entire photoshoot experience, M.S's kind-hearted nature and understanding demeanor shone through. Despite being conscious of the time she had booked, she didn't want to exceed it, displaying a thoughtful consideration for everyone involved. However, I assured her that my priority was to capture exceptional photos that both of us would be proud of. Her understanding and trust in my expertise allowed us to continue the shoot without any rush or pressure, ensuring we had ample time to explore different angles and moments.
