Outdoor Couple Photoshoot with Andre & Yen
Andre and Yen's couple photoshoot in Singapore was a delightful and eventful experience following Andre's successful surprise marriage proposal to Yen. After the heartfelt proposal, we proceeded with the planned casual photoshoot to capture their joyous moments together.
The shoot took place in the morning, although we didn't start particularly early. Unfortunately, this meant we had to contend with the scorching sun, presenting a challenge for both me and the couple. Moreover, having travelled from a distance and with a lack of sufficient sleep, I was feeling a bit tired. However, the excitement and enthusiasm of the couple quickly energised the atmosphere.
To ensure their comfort and satisfaction, I explained the shooting process and then allowed them to take the lead. This approach encouraged them to express their creativity and allowed for a more authentic representation of their relationship. Yen's infectious bubbliness and creative spirit added a vibrant touch to the photoshoot. Her enthusiasm and willingness to try new ideas contributed to the overall fun and relaxed atmosphere.
The shoot proceeded at a fast pace, which presented its own set of challenges for me. As a photographer, I had to adapt quickly and ensure I captured their natural interactions and genuine moments amidst the swift flow of the session. Despite the speed, we managed to create a collection of pictures that exuded a sense of spontaneity, fun and authenticity.
After bidding farewell to Andre and Yen, I encountered a pair of tourists who were seeking directions to the two domes. Although I was exhausted, I decided to assist them. The gentleman showed me the map on his phone, but my tired mind wasn't in the best state to figure it out. Nevertheless, since I was familiar with the physical route, I offered to physically lead them there. Along the way, the gentleman expressed doubts about my directions and suggested heading the opposite way. However, I remained confident and guided them correctly, ensuring they reached their destination.
Reflecting on the day, I was grateful for the opportunity to capture energetic and unique moments with Andre and Yen during their photoshoot. Their vibrant personalities and willingness to have fun allowed for the creation of memorable images that truly reflected their relationship. Additionally, being able to assist the pair of tourists, despite my fatigue, brought a sense of fulfilment and added a positive note to the day's experiences.
All in all, it was a good day filled with joyful moments, energetic captures and the satisfaction of assisting others. Andre and Yen's couple photoshoot turned out to be a fulfilling and memorable experience, leaving me with a sense of gratitude for the opportunity to capture their love and also lend a helping hand to fellow travellers.
