Vacation Photoshoot with Michael
Listed in portrait category: Vacation | Lifestyle

Even though Michael’s visit to Singapore was work-focused, there was still room for rest. I felt that capturing that softer, more personal rhythm would round out the shoot beautifully. The poolside scene was a perfect fit—a place where work melted into calm
We found a quiet corner by the hotel pool—just the right spot for Michael to unwind and enjoy the breeze. Although the vibe was relaxed, the usual outdoor challenges still applied: keeping out of other guests’ way, staying low-profile, and adjusting to the sharp changes in sunlight. But true to form, Michael stayed flexible and composed, making the session feel less like work and more like a casual catch-up.
What came out of it was a set of soft, genuine portraits that reflected Michael’s calmer side—relaxed, reflective, and fully present in a rare window of stillness
After we wrapped up the shoot, Michael joined my wife and me for dinner. It turned into one of those quietly memorable evenings that remind you just how special it is when a client becomes a friend. I’m genuinely grateful for that moment.
