The intention of this photoshoot was to try out the layout and equipment of my new photography studio at Buona Vista. Carol and I wanted to utilise the photoshoot and thus I went through my old to-do list to choose a special concept instead of simply doing a normal fashion photoshoot. She was up to the challenge.

The preparation for this last-minute photoshoot was overwhelming for me. We went through the outfit to select the most suitable piece in her wardrobe and discussed which fruits were nice and doable within a short time.

While Carol was dolling herself up, I went to the supermarket to look for the fruits. It was a huge challenge for me to shop alone, especially when it came to buying fruits. I was almost frozen while choosing the fruits in the two supermarkets for most of them didn't look flawless enough for pictures. Eventually, we had to scrap some of the ideas.

Setting up the studio took an exceptionally long time, as expected, to test Carol's patience. The sun had probably set by the time we started the actual photoshoot.

One big challenge we had to overcome with the oversized top was that it limited the flattering poses. I was guiding Carol verbally, including the reunification of the strayed strands of hair in front of her face, and she stopped me during the photoshoot.

"Why don't you do it for me directly since I'm your girlfriend?" she exclaimed.

I was taken aback and paused for a moment. I was too used to keeping social distancing from my models during photoshoots.

The scary moment appeared after ending the photoshoot. The building's exits were mostly cordoned off due to the pandemic while there were labels at the lift lobby indicating that the lifts would stop operating after certain hours; we might have problems leaving the place.

Alas, everything went well and we got home safe.
