Outdoor Reading Photoshoot with Jun Hao
Listed in portrait category: Hobby

To capture Jun Hao's connection to books, we headed to a quiet park and kept the setup simple. But instead of defaulting to the classic "lost in a book" image, I flipped the concept a little. Something playful, still grounded—but more personality-forward.
Rather than the usual quiet reading shots, I asked Jun Hao to pretend he was pitching the book, full-on sales mode. And he absolutely delivered. Suddenly, we had a delightfully over-the-top set of him selling that book like it was a bestseller. Effortlessly fun and weirdly effective
Then something unexpected caught my eye—Jun Hao wasn't just reading a Chinese book, it was in traditional format: top to bottom, right to left. I was genuinely impressed. It spoke to a level of cultural connection and reading depth that gave the scene an added weight I hadn't anticipated.
As the session unfolded, it evolved into more than just a reading set—it became a reflection of creativity, culture, and character. Jun Hao's willingness to lean into the unexpected, always with a smile, brought a spark to every frame. What began as a simple idea ended up being one of the most playful and memorable sets of the day.
