Beach Lifestyle Photoshoot with Daniel Stephen
This beach lifestyle photoshoot with Daniel Stephen marked the second and final set of our photoshoot session for the day, and we remained at the same location - the picturesque Siloso Beach on Sentosa Island. Unlike the earlier fitness-focused session, this beach photoshoot had a different objective — to showcase Daniel's muscular physique in a more lifestyle-oriented manner.
I was delighted to find that we were in sync with most of our creative ideas, although Daniel preferred using hard light to accentuate his muscles. Our perfectionist natures led us to spend a significant amount of time on this session, and we ended up reworking some scenes to ensure they met our exacting standards.
Since this was an outdoor shoot, we had to contend with the ambient brightness of the surroundings. Viewing the LCD screen at the back of my camera became challenging at times due to the intense natural light. It was during these moments that I had to rely on my experience and intuition to adjust exposure levels to perfection.
As we neared the end of the session, we decided to move towards one of the beach bars. We couldn't have been luckier as we found it in operation during that hour, while the others were yet to open for the day. Making the most of this serendipitous situation, we captured some fantastic photos against this unique backdrop before the dark clouds overtook the sky. The combination of natural light and the vibrant atmosphere of the beach bar added an extra layer of creativity to our beach lifestyle photoshoot.
