Children Photoshoot with Nicholas, Jonathan & Iverina
This children's photoshoot was on an extremely sunny day. I knew from the start that the timing was not the best, but I was determined to capture some amazing shots.
As soon as we started the shoot, I realised that the bad shadows were falling on the kids' faces. It wasn't ideal but I didn't let that dampen my spirits. I tried different angles and positions to minimise the shadows but there was only so much I could do.
Despite the lighting challenges, I managed to capture some genuine smiles and laughter from the kids. I focused on their expressions and body gestures, trying to bring out their personality in the pictures.
I couldn't help but feel frustrated with the lighting, but I reminded myself that as a photographer, I needed to be adaptable and work with what I had. I tried to keep the mood light and playful, interacting and running along with them to keep them engaged.
In the end, I was pleasantly surprised with the results. While the lighting wasn't perfect, the genuine emotions captured in the pictures more than made up for it. I felt grateful for being able to capture their beautiful personalities on camera.
