Before Bryan and Abby flew in from the Philippines, I received the sweetest message from Bryan. He had quietly arranged a surprise proposal shoot—something he'd been planning well in advance of their trip to Singapore for the Taylor Swift concert. The plan? To capture the joy-filled moment right after he asked Abby to marry him.
Of course, life had a surprise of its own. Swept up in the magic of the concert, Bryan decided not to wait—he proposed right then and there. While we missed the chance to photograph the big moment, we still met for the shoot, now a sweet celebration of their newly engaged joy.
Singapore offers no shortage of beautiful backdrops, and Bryan had plenty of stunning options to choose from. After some thoughtful discussion and guidance, he chose Gardens by the Bay—iconic, lush, and the perfect setting to mark such a meaningful moment.
We caught the light just right, and apart from the intense heat, everything went according to plan. It was one of those days when the sun didn't let up, and they were both glowing—part sweat, part joy. Still, they embraced the moment with ease and laughter. Their chemistry made posing unnecessary; just being together said it all.
Ultimately, everyone left with full hearts. Bryan and Abby now have a set of memories to hold onto from their time in Singapore, and I got the joy of documenting a love that's as warm as it is effortless.
